Willow Hill students have been enjoying this beautiful weather! Even Dr. Jordan joined some students to play some 4 Square!

Yesterday's solar eclipse was a rare educational opportunity for our K-5 elementary school students! Students and staff were able to view the celestial event, which will not occur in our area again until 2044. #ASDProud #ASDAcademics

Here are some additional pictures from yesterday's eclipse!

Happy Paraprofessional Appreciation Day to our paraeducators in Abington School District! Thank you for supporting our students and teachers. #ASDProud #OneASD

Today our kindergarten classes were given a gift from students in the Family Consumer Science course. The kindergartners drew a picture of their monster and then the eighth graders made the monsters come to life with buttons, felt, and sewing! We love them! THANK YOU!

Congratulations to all of our participants at last night's Reading Olympics held at Hatboro High School.

Willow Hill platinum card night!

Happy Pi Day!
Math enthusiasts around the world, celebrate Pi Day on 3/14— the first three digits of an infinite number with many practical uses.
Willow Hill celebrated it differently with the winning class from our 'soup"er bowl challenge being able to "pie" Mr. Tague (a 49ers fan), while Mr. Marinello ( a KC fan) watched with a smile!

Thank you to our Hawk retirees for sprucing up our garden today on this beautiful day!

Willow Hill had a visit from a Harlem Wizard named, Dragon today! The students were super excited and three lucky kids were chosen to help Dragon demonstrate some of his skills.
On Saturday, March 23 the Wizards will be visiting Abington Senior High School. Doors open at 1:00 pm. For tickets please go to: https://www.aef-pa.org/2024-harlem-wizards-event

Students enjoyed "A Dog Gone Good" Reading night tonight!

On Thursday, February 29th, Willow Hill celebrated Black History Month with an assembly. Black History Month was started in February of 1976, by Carter G. Woodson to honor the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who came out last night to Willow Hill's family night at the book fair! A special thanks to all of our volunteers for helping make the night a success!
