From January 1 through March 31, everyone who shops at the GIANT on Susquehanna Road in Roslyn will be invited to “round up” at the register and donate the round-up amount of their bill to support Feeding School Kids. At the end of March, all round-up donations will be tallied and donated to Abington School District. Donations have been used by the Student Services Department to purchase GIANT gift cards that are distributed by our social workers directly to our families in need in order to help supplement the cost of their groceries.

Since the entire Abington School District community couldn't make it out to Manchester for last week's state championship soccer game, the ASHS Boys Varsity Soccer team brought the celebration to our schools today! The players and coaches went on a victory tour around the district, visiting all seven elementary schools and the Middle School, where they had an opportunity to high-five their fans and sign autographs for the younger students. #ASDProud

A day of celebration for our very own Dr. Jordan! The entire school gathered in the gym to surprise him for his 50th. John, the bus driver from Bus 56, also made an appearance with his bagpipes and played Happy Birthday while the children sang along! Dr. Jordan had many special visitors throughout the day! Thank you to all for helping decorate the walls with all kinds of signs and cards. It is sure to be a day he will not forget!
