Congratulations to ASHS Senior YuLee Murphy, whose large-scale screen print titled "Fish Braids" was chosen to be included in the "Threaded Currents" joint exhibition between the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia.
YuLee created this work of art when they participated in the Fabric Workshop High School Internship Program. The exhibition runs from January 22 to April 12 at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Museum. We are #AbingtonProud #ASHSProud #FirstintheArts

Open House at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove is Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to see how EASTERN can give students a competitive edge in college or in a specialized career program. At the Open House, parents and students will learn how EASTERN students can earn college credits while still in high school through dual enrollment and articulation agreements. The Open House also offers an opportunity to hear from EASTERN instructors on the hands-on learning environment that complements students’ high school academics. Many special activities in EASTERN’s career programs are scheduled, and college and military representatives will be on site.
