Kudos to the students who chose to spend their Lunch & Learn diving deeper into this career field—your curiosity and initiative are to be commended.

🦃 A Feast to Be Thankful For! 🦃

Today, our Abington Senior High School Culinary Arts students, led by their teacher, Mrs. Kate England, showcased their talent, teamwork, and passion by preparing a full Thanksgiving meal from scratch! From planning the menu to mastering new techniques, these students poured hours of learning and hard work into every dish.

We were honored to have our superintendent, Dr. Fecher, join us to carve the turkey, adding a special touch to a wonderful celebration. Students also invited faculty and staff to share in the meal—turning the day into a warm, community-centered gathering.

Abington Ice Hockey Club is heading to the big stage — Xfinity Arena! Our varsity team has been given an incredible opportunity to play their Senior Night game at the Xfinity Arena if they sell enough tickets to the Flyers vs. Blackhawks matchup on March 26 at 7PM 🏒🔥

Today is Education Support Professionals Day, part of our annual observance of American Education Week! Thank you to our ASD support staff who keep our schools running smoothly each day, including, but not limited to, paraprofessionals and hall/playground aides, administrative assistants, health suite staff, custodians and maintenance personnel, bus drivers and monitors, cafeteria workers, school counselors and psychologists, and many, many more. Last Friday, National English Honors Society students had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Pauline Schmidt, Professor and author at West Chester University. Dr. Schmidt spoke about her academic experience and how her path led her to education and eventually to becoming an author.
