Yesterday, fifth-grade students from ASD's seven elementary schools joined together as one Abington Class of 2030 for 5th Grade CommUNITY Day, a transition event before they all become classmates at Abington Middle School next school year. Activities included ice breakers, teambuilding games, a barbecue lunch and receiving their first Class T-shirt. #ASDProud #ASD7to1
Congratulations to our 2023 Silver Pen Award winners, who were recognized at last night’s meeting of the Board of School Directors. The awards, which are sponsored by the @abingtonedfoundation, honor 5th grade students who have exhibited outstanding writing ability. Ahead of last night's meeting of the Board of School Directors, the Innovative Instruction Committee hosted a showcase in the new Innovation Incubator at Abington Senior High School.
