Last night, the Board of School Directors approved the 2026-2027 school year calendar, with the first day of student attendance for grades K-6 and 9 being Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, and the first day of student attendance for grades 7-8 and 10-12 being Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. Philly Skateplex Roller Skating Fundraiser
Get ready for the long holiday weekend! Meet us at Philly Skateplex on Sunday, February 15th from 4:30-7:30pm for a fun afternoon with friends!
$18 includes admission and skate rentals! Friends and family are welcome! All tickets must be pre-ordered and will not be available at the door.

An adult must accompany and supervise all children attending the event. Roslyn PTO will NOT provide chaperones. Non-skating adults do NOT need to pre-order a ticket but will be charged a $3 spectator fee at the door.
Please send cash/check payments to school no later than Monday 2/9! Tickets will be sent home with students by Wed. 2/11.

Congratulations to Abington Middle School for being recognized today by the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support (PaPBS) Network for meeting criteria for implementing School-Wide (SWPBIS) Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports with fidelity during the 2024-2025 school year! From January 1 through March 31, everyone who shops at the GIANT on Susquehanna Road in Roslyn will be invited to “round up” at the register and donate the round-up amount of their bill to support Feeding School Kids. At the end of March, all round-up donations will be tallied and donated to Abington School District. Donations have been used by the Student Services Department to purchase GIANT gift cards that are distributed by our social workers directly to our families in need in order to help supplement the cost of their groceries.

All Abington School District Schools will open on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, December 15, 2025, due to weather conditions.
Students are to report to their bus stops or schools two hours later than their usually scheduled time. Before-school care provided by the YMCA will not operate.

Join the Abington Senior High School's ACTIVE Academy and STRIVE students for their annual holiday pop-up shop, right here in the Abington School District Administration Building! On Thursday, December 18, from 9-10 a.m., shop their offerings of handmade items and crafts, as well as their Ability Greetings cards and gift tags, all available for a suggested donation. This event is open to the public, but non-District employees must be prepared to sign in using the Raptor Visitor Management System.
