We’re excited to share that this year’s Summer 1 School 1 Book selection is Wishtree by Katherine Applegate! Every student will receive a copy to take home and enjoy over the summer. Before we send the books home, we’re asking all families to complete the Summer Reading Commitment Form. As an added incentive, the two classes with the highest percentage of returned forms—one from grades K–2 and one from grades 3–5—will earn a special treat during the last week of school

Attention 5th Grade Families: Due to the forecasted rain for tomorrow, May 14th, a decision has been made to move 5th Grade CommUNITY Day to the scheduled rain date of May 15th. Please plan to have your student arrive at school in their Class T-shirt and sneakers on Thursday instead.
We are keeping an eye on the weather, and if, in consultation with our meteorology service provider, the forecast looks as if we need to reschedule again, we will identify a new date and communicate that information to you tomorrow.

Douglas had his scary story submitted to Young Writers and he won! His story was published in this Scary Tales -Wicked Tales book! Way to go Douglas!

The 28th Annual Abington Arts Fest, where students' creative works will be on display, will be held in the Administration Building gymnasium on Monday and Tuesday, April 14 and 15, from 1-6:30 pm. Come celebrate the #ArtsinASD with selected pieces from students in grades K-12!
