During Read Across America Week, Ms. Lynn’s third grade class read to some buddies in Mrs. Adamski’s kindergarten classroom. They also colored bookmarks to show their love of reading❤️❤️❤️

Kicking off March with Read Across America Week and a SPECIAL Spirit Week :)

All Abington School District schools will open on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Students are to report to their bus stops or schools two hours later than their usually scheduled time. Before-school care provided by the YMCA will not operate.

Due to the incoming storm, all Abington School District schools and offices will be closed Monday, February 23, 2026.

Last night, the Board of School Directors approved the 2026-2027 school year calendar, with the first day of student attendance for grades K-6 and 9 being Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, and the first day of student attendance for grades 7-8 and 10-12 being Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. Philly Skateplex Roller Skating Fundraiser
Get ready for the long holiday weekend! Meet us at Philly Skateplex on Sunday, February 15th from 4:30-7:30pm for a fun afternoon with friends!

$18 includes admission and skate rentals! Friends and family are welcome! All tickets must be pre-ordered and will not be available at the door.

The facility offers traditional roller skates and rollerblades! They also have skate-mates (walkers on wheels) available for rent. Check out all they have to offer here: https://phillyskateplex.com 
Please be sure to read and accept the Rules of the Skateplex. You will be asked to sign a waiver of the rules prior to entry but we have posted them here so you have time to review in advance.

An adult must accompany and supervise all children attending the event. Roslyn PTO will NOT provide chaperones. Non-skating adults do NOT need to pre-order a ticket but will be charged a $3 spectator fee at the door.

Please send cash/check payments to school no later than Monday 2/9! Tickets will be sent home with students by Wed. 2/11.
