March Mammal Madness has arrived in the 6th grade science classes! Hosted by the University of Arizona, students researched the combatants and picked their brackets. The only question now is whose bracket is the best and gets to take home the trophy?!? Championship battle is April 3.

7th/8th grade girls lacrosse tryout dates have been changed. Tryouts will be March 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th.

7th grade baseball tryouts will be held March 13th, March 14th, and March 15th from 3:15-5:15

Builders Club
Hey Builder's Club! Our meeting will be this Thursday, March 14th in Commons B. Please wear your Builder's Club shirt because we will be taking our yearbook. Also, please bring empty toilet paper rolls and newspaper if you can. We will see you on Thursday!

Reading Olympics
The next Reading Olympics meeting will be this Tuesday, March 12 in Room 223. please bring books to return, permission slips & t-shirt money if needed.

Boys Tennis Interest Meeting
Any 7th or 8th grade student interested in trying out for the boy’s tennis team should report to room 110 at 3:15 on Friday, March 8th.

Late buses - For the reminder of the week, we will only have 5:15 buses on Thursday. We will have 4:15 buses every day this week for clubs and other meetings that have been scheduled. Please remember, only students that are on a team or who are with a teacher and a club may be in the building after school. You may not be in the building without supervision.

Performances of AMS's Spring Musical, Raise Your Voice! take place this Thursday, March 7th at 7pm, Friday, March 8th at 7pm, and Saturday March 9th at 2pm and 7pm in the Little Theater. You're invited to enjoy our performances from a variety of popular musicals and see the hard work of all student cast and crew members. Tickets are $10 and available on Ticketleap or at the door.

8th Grade Softball Interests Meeting
8th Grade Softball will be having our interest meeting immediately after school on March 5th in room 157. Any 8th grader interested in playing should plan to attend. Track and Field Interest Meeting
Are you in 7th or 8th grade and interested in participating in Track and Field this Spring? The Boys and Girls Track and Field teams will be holding a mandatory interest meeting on Friday, March 1st in the Main Gym Area from 3:15pm to 4:00pm. Please arrange for your transportation to pick you up at 4:00 or be prepared to take the 4:15 bus home. You can find the Google Classroom QR Codes on flyers throughout the building, please join the Google Classroom prior to the meeting. REMINDER: The Abington School District team of home and school visitors is partnering with High Focus Treatment Centers to bring a Health & Wellness Fair to the Abington School District. This event will run in conjunction with the annual College and Career Fair hosted by the Abington Senior High School Counseling Department on Thursday, March 7, starting at 6 p.m. The Health & Wellness Fair portion will be housed in the library and is open to all ASD families.
