REMINDER: The Arts in ASD parent/guardian group meets again tonight at 7pm. This meeting will be held in the library at Abington Middle School (above the main office entrance). The meeting is open to any parents/guardians of students in grades K-12.

At Tuesday's Board meeting, Dr. Matthew Harris, Supervisor of Fine Arts, and Abington School District art teachers, curated the 2023-2024 Abington School District Art Exhibit in the Administration Building, and recognized the students who have created wonderful pieces of artwork and dedicated them to the building. Check out what 2nd grade has been learning! Students explored building techniques using marshmallows & toothpicks, and discovered the strength of a tetrahedron (3D triangle). They also experimented building structures to support a book that was read in Explorations!
