As presented at last night's Board meeting, Abington School District is launching a new website and mobile app on Monday, August 14th! Bookmark our new URL, www.abingtonsd.org, and download our app via the App Store or Google Play (search Abington School District).
Parents/guardians received an email this morning under ASD's new mass communication system! The system is integrated with Skyward, so if you did not receive the message, check that your contact information is up to date, and/or make sure the email did not go to your spam folder.
The #SummerinASD series is back for the summer of 2023! Share photos and a description of your student’s summer adventures, whether they’re catching up on summer reading, attending camp, learning a new skill, or traveling out of town! The annual Grad Walk was held today for the Class of 2023, where seniors returned to walk the halls of their elementary schools one last time before graduating tomorrow night! #ASDProud #ASHS2023
This past weekend, @m3asd held their annual Summer Sounds concert. 30 bands, two stages, nearly 100 total performers, many performing with more than 5 different acts. Additionally, the concert featured a full student media team, including video and audio recording. Finally, several students released original music in conjunction with the concert, which may be found on all streaming platforms. The concert was incredibly well received, and effectively showcased Abington’s music industry programming. #ArtsinASD #ASDProud
Yesterday wrapped up the final session of our monthly CA.M.P. Abington pilot program! This was a cross-age, peer mentoring program, in which high school Link Crew members mentored elementary students. The kids loved it—the big kids and the little ones. #ASDProud

Ahead of last night's meeting of the Board of School Directors, the Innovative Instruction Committee hosted a showcase in the new Innovation Incubator at Abington Senior High School.
