On Monday, June 8th Overlook held a Title I event, "Preventing Summer Slide". This event was a fair that provided resources for families to keep their children learning while they are away from school during the summer months.

It was a walk down memory lane today for our Class of 2026 as they participated in the annual Grad Walk celebration at all seven elementary schools and Abington Middle School! #ASDProud #ASHS2026

Overlook's 2026 5th Grade Wax Museum was a huge success! Our 5th grade students researched historic figures, wrote speeches, and came to life in an extraordinary way. Thanks to all who were able to attend the galleries!

Congratulations to our students who were recognized at Tuesday's annual Districtwide Awards Ceremony, celebrating student achievement in visual and performing arts, world language, mathematics, English Language Arts and more. The event also served as an opportunity to showcase student artwork in celebration of the Semiquincentennial. #ASDProud #ASDCelebratesTheUSA #AwardsofASD
In one month, the United States will turn 250 years old! Students can stop by one of our school libraries to select a book in the spirit of commemorating this historic milestone! #ASDCelebratesTheUSA #ASDReads

Last Friday Overlook students celebrated Field Day by working together cooperatively to compete against their opponent. It was a close competition, but white edged out red for the victory! As always, a special shout out goes to Ms. Early for planning an awesome day!
Last week, English-learners and their families joined us for the annual ELD Family Engagement Night, where they were able to be connected to resources and learn about the curriculum for grades K-12. #ASDProud

On Friday, May 8th, Overlook students were able to enjoy some intriguing hands on science & technology centers during our STEAM Assembly.
