Henry Szerlag (incoming AMS 6th grader) and sister Alexis (future Overlook 3rd grader) enjoyed a weekend in New Brunswick, Canada, celebrating their great-grandmother's 90th birthday! They loved tubing, jet skiing, pier jumping and fishing on the St. John River. #SummerinASD




Nathan and Sophia Roach, rising 4th and 2nd graders at Overlook Elementary, spent a week in Ocean City, NJ, playing on the beach, mini golfing, tie dying, and enjoying the boardwalk with their family. They even brought home two new pet hermit crabs! #SummerinASD

Sadie Collier, rising 8th grader at AMS, qualified for and rode her pony, Chunky Monkey, in the national competition, Pony Finals, which took place last week in Lexington, KY! She trains year round at Bopegan Farm in Fort Washington, PA. #SummerinASD


Jacob Vazquez is heading to 8th grade at Abington Middle School, but not before hiking through Arizona and Colorado! His trip included a visit to Bearizona, where he got to watch bears in a lake. #SummerinASD

Jensen Spargo, future 3rd grader at Rydal Elementary, spent a week on a road trip across the northeastern states, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. He has now been to 26 states in total! #SummerinASD




Jaxson, rising 6th grader at AMS, and Jason Baker, upcoming 4th grader at Rydal, traveled to both Maine and California this summer and were able to cross off 6 new states and their 3rd Disney Resort! #SummerinASD

Austin Friedman, upcoming 8th grader at Abington Middle School, had an opportunity to ride a sea plane and canoe approximately 90 miles in Maine over a week with Troop 72. #SummerinASD

Lily Hopkinson, incoming 5th grader at Highland Elementary, is competing in two track and field events at the AAU Junior Olympics in Houston, Texas. Her sister Charlotte, rising 2nd grader and brother Jack, future Husky, cheered her on! #SummerinASD

Audra and Elena Burns, rising Highland 5th graders, enjoyed a family vacation in Montréal, Canada. They took in the view of the city from Mt. Royal, and explored the Biodôme natural science museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Old Port neighborhood, and much more! #SummerinASD
