This summer, Creative Studies teacher Kristine Barnes and AMS teacher Michael Carroll attended the Keystones Technology Innovator (KTI) Summit, a week-long hands-on professional development event designed to enrich skills to enhance innovation in the classroom. #SummerinASD

It might be September, but it still feels like #SummerinASD! Morgan Culver (12th Grade Senior) attended her very first concert over the summer - Beyoncé!

Last week, over 115 Juniors and Seniors in the Link Crew reported to school to train and prepare for the Class of 2027 orientation, which occurred yesterday. They played games, created name tags for their small group of 9th graders, and brainstormed best strategies to make the newest class feel part of the ASHS community! #OneASD #ASDProud #Back2SchoolASD

Please be advised: Tonight's football game between Abington Senior High School and Cheltenham High School has been suspended and will be resumed at a later date, due to the discovery that a Cheltenham attendee was in possession of a firearm and safety concerns. The individual has been taken into police custody and attendees of the game were instructed to promptly leave the school campus in an abundance of caution. Both football teams were safely dismissed to the locker rooms and the stadium has been cleared safely.
