Bryanna Wylie, upcoming sophomore at Abington Senior High, took a cruise to Bermuda where she enjoyed the beach and walked the amazing Crystal Caves. #SummerinASD


#SummerinASD: Future AMS 8th grader Ava Jonas (front middle) went on a mission trip to Pittsburgh with her church youth group. They participated in community service such as working in a soup kitchen and food pantry, and had fun getting to know each other better.


#SummerinASD: Peyton and Gabe Pratt (entering 5th & 2nd grades, Rydal Elementary) enjoyed a trip to Carnegie Mellon University and Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh. They also visited the Flight 93 National Memorial, honoring the passengers and crew of that flight.



#SummerinASD: ASHS students Chase Smith (9th), Grant McKeough (9th), Greg Frey (10th), Sebastien Montagano (11th), Bryson Edmonds (11th), and Tristan McKeough (2023 grad) spent a week sailing around the US Virgin Islands, exploring local ruins with their Scout Troop #437 Roslyn.



Austin Friedman, rising 6th grader at Abington Middle School, went fishing while camping with Boy Scout Troop 72 at Goose Pond Scout Reservation. #SummerinASD


#SummerinASD: Brielle Merlino, rising 1st grader at McKinley Elementary, completed the Goldfish Glider 1 Swim Lesson at the Goldfish Swim School, and is moving up to Glider 2. Way to go, Brielle!


#SummerinASD: Ben Bradley (AMS soon-to-be 6th grader) and Eli Bradley (rising 1st grader at Highland) saw Little Shop of Horrors at Westside Theatre in NYC, and even met the cast after the show!



Please be advised: Abington Senior High School's Ghost Road entrance from Charles Street will be closed for approximately one week beginning Thursday, July 20, 2023. The closure is to address repairs and repaving. Access to ASHS will be from Highland Avenue during the closure.

#SummerinASD: Annaleia and Sheileen Thompson, entering kindergarten and 1st grade at Highland Elementary, road tripped with their family to Orlando, Florida for their first Disney World experience!



Today, July 17th, you may see police activity at Roslyn Elementary School as the Abington Township Police Department is conducting a training. There is no threat to the area.

Marianna Rodrigues (future ASHS 10th grader) and her sister Aliana (class of 2023) enjoyed an exciting summer vacation with their family in Portugal and Paris, France. #SummerinASD


Jessica Jaglal (upcoming AMS 6th grader) and her sister, Olivia (entering 4th at Willow Hill), visited Old Faithful Geyser at Yellow Stone National Park and witnessed its spectacular eruption! They also visited Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. #SummerinASD



#SummerinASD: Maeve and Jude Love, entering 1st and 3rd grades at Copper Beech Elementary, had fun on the roller coasters and eating LOTS of chocolate at Hershey Park! They also kayaked down the Little Miami River in Ohio.


Rydal Elementary future 4th grader Ava Sanchez visited San Francisco to catch the U.S. Women's National Soccer team play against Wales for their World Cup send off! She also saw the Golden Gate Bridge and toured the Computer History Museum. #SummerinASD




#SummerinASD: Mark and Eloise Green, upcoming 1st and 3rd graders at Rydal Elementary, had fun exploring London this summer. Mark is pictured by the Tower Bridge in London, while Eloise took in the view of the city from the London Eye.



#SummerinASD: Aubrey and Richie Anthony (entering 3rd and kindergarten at Copper Beech) and Nathan and Sophia Roach (entering 2nd and kindergarten at Overlook) attended a Kidz Bop concert this summer, followed by a Meet and Greet!
