UPDATE FROM TONIGHT'S FOOTBALL GAME: Please click here for additional information from the Abington Township Police Department https://www.abingtonpd.org/press-release-gun-arrest/?fbclid=IwAR1ksdifjbdiUq-_ncjKaJXZdD_nlWaOeA5MH1qXUzvpcf90ZHJaA0s83UE

Please be advised: Tonight's football game between Abington Senior High School and Cheltenham High School has been suspended and will be resumed at a later date, due to the discovery that a Cheltenham attendee was in possession of a firearm and safety concerns. The individual has been taken into police custody and attendees of the game were instructed to promptly leave the school campus in an abundance of caution. Both football teams were safely dismissed to the locker rooms and the stadium has been cleared safely.

Please be advised: A test of ASD’s new mass communication system has just been issued. Parents/guardians should have received an email and voice call, plus a text message if they have a mobile number listed in Skyward. Changes to emergency contact info can be made in Skyward.
