Special thanks to the Red Cross Club for coordinating last week's Seat Belt Relay presentation, part of the Arrive Alive program at Abington Senior High School. Upcoming sessions include a presentation on the dangers of drunk driving and a staged mock crash. #ArriveAlive



Roslyn celebrated Pi Day (3.14) with their annual “Pie the Principal” fundraiser. Proceeds benefited 5th grade end-of-year activities. Duncan Manners, grand prize winner, pied Dr. Osborne, and teachers Mrs. Oman and Mr. Staszkiw were pied by students in their classes! #ASDProud

Last week, McKinley 4th graders completed a virtual biography book report project. The students will be travelling around their grade level classrooms to view each other's displays, which will include a QR code they can scan to view each student's virtual presentation. #ASDProud

The McKinley Boys Running Club was visited by representatives from the Phillies Phitness program last week! The club participated in some of the same exercises as Phillies players, and heard important messages about nutrition and the importance of eating healthy food. #ASDProud

Earlier this month, members of the Abington Boys and Girls basketball teams visited Roslyn Elementary to launch Roslyn’s i-Ready March Madness competition. Throughout March, each class will complete and pass lessons, aiming to win the championship trophy by the end of the month. #ASDProud








Copper Beech Elementary Kindergarteners enjoyed a visit from Abington Township Police K9 Unit team, K9 Dude and Officer Tim Connelly. Dude, a Black Labrador Retriever, enjoyed being greeted by students, and Officer Connelly read "Officer Buckle and Gloria". #ASDProud











The Harlem Wizards visited ASD elementary schools today! Team member "Dragon" stopped by Highland Elementary in preparation for the Abington Educational Foundation's Harlem Wizards Family Fun Event on Saturday, March 23rd at Abington Senior High.
