Last week, the ASHS student-run A Cappella group, the Abingtones, performed a standing-room only concert in the Black Box Theater. The student-run group meets regularly during Lunch & Learn to coordinate voice and choreography, and even performed earlier that day at Lafayette Redeemer Senior Center. #ASDProud #ArtsinASD

At Tuesday's Board meeting, Dr. Fecher and Board Vice President Dr. Melissa Mowry recognized Board President Mrs. Shameeka Browne on being named a winner in the Champion of Equity - District Leadership category of the second annual Excellence in Equity Awards program for educators, presented by the American Consortium for Equity in Education. At last night's meeting of the Board of School Directors, the Teaching and Learning Department presented the 2024 Mathematics Achievement Awards, which recognize elementary and middle school students for their accomplishments in the Pennsylvania Statistics Poster Competition, the Mathematical Olympiads and the Continental Mathematics League Competition.
