The event allowed students to explore different career paths and interact with professionals in a variety of fields, learning about the skills, qualifications, and education requirements for different jobs so that they can make informed decisions about their futures. it also gave employers the opportunity to identify potential candidates and establish relationships with students who may be interested in internships, apprenticeships, or entry-level positions. #ASDPathways

Yesterday, Ms. Hansen and Ms. Bartlett took a group of students to the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1 Training Facility, where they had an opportunity to learn about the benefits of getting involved in the building trades, and also acquired some real-life experience in the hands-on portion of the workshop. The students learned about careers in stone masonry, tiling, bricklaying, and historic refinishing, but they also learned about the camaraderie that can be found in this career, as well as the importance of following your heart and working in a profession that you're passionate about! #ASDProud #ASDPathways
