KEY CLUB: Need to get rid of some books lying around your house and begin your spring cleaning early? Key Club's annual book drive will start on Monday, February 2nd and run through Friday, March 27th. Bring in your gently used books for ages 0 through 12 and collect service hours: 1 hour per 5 books. Books can be dropped off in Mrs. Peters room A132 or Miss DeGregorio's room C120. Last year we donated over 3,000 books to the Mitzvah Circle! Can we surpass that this year?
Key Club: During the month of March, Key Club is offering 3 service opportunities. The first is the ongoing book drive: bring in 5 books to either Mrs. Peters in A132 or Miss DeGregorio in C120 and receive a service hour. The drive will end on Friday, March 27th! The second is the Kiwanis Special Athlete Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 21st at Hatboro-Horsham High School. Sign-ups for volunteers and participants are on the Key Club Google Classroom page. The third is the Copper Beech Science Fair on Wednesday, March 25th from 5:30-7:30pm. Sign-ups are also on the Key Club Google Classroom page. Questions about the science fair can be directed to Ms. Cohen in C228.

VIDEO GAMES CLUB: The Video Games Club is hosting its 4th annual Video Games Tournament. This event will take place on Thursday, March 26 after school in the library.
The entry fee to compete for prizes is $5.00.
This year’s games are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Wii Sports, Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and Mario Party.

M3 AUDITIONS: Auditions for the M3 touring and modern band ensembles at Abington HSs are underway. Auditions include considerations for vocals and instrumental performance, and round one video submissions will be due by April 3.
All necessary details and submission information are available on our Google Classroom using code "v45d3dz5" or using this LINK.
This nationally recognized program features consistent performances across the greater-Philadelphia region and performs alongside top-tier talent on a regular basis, as well as work in studio recording original music and covers. Plans for next year include continuing to record new music projects as well as potential for another touring experience.

Attention Seniors: Looking for that perfect dress? Our annual Prom Dress Shop will take place starting Monday 3/23 through Friday 3/27. This event gives students an opportunity to shop for a new/gently used prom gown at school for $15. Students will make a 'shopping appointment' during learn #1 any day the week of 3/23- 3/27 to try on and purchase gowns.

MILITARY CLUB: The Military Club will be hosting representatives from the United States Marine Corps on March 23. The visit will take place in Room A142. ABING THON: AbingThon is less than 2 weeks away, and this week is PUSH week. Each grade level has a goal to reach for donations on their donor drives; we are trying to double the money we raised. Make sure you are signed into your donor drive and share your link for people to donate. The incentives for reaching your goals by grade will be announced soon. I know Mr. Zanetti already agreed to get pied for the seniors!.

GIRLS SWIMMING:
Congratulations to the girls swimmers who competed at the PIAA State Championships last week.
Senior Julie Chong finished 16th in the 500 Free with a personal best time to wrap up an outstanding career.
Senior Ruby Tucker set a new school record in the 100 Backstroke to finish in 6th place and qualify for possible All American status as she also wrapped up an exemplary career.
