Boy’s JV & Varsity Soccer

The Boy’s Soccer Minicamp is TODAY, Tuesday, May 27th after school behind the stadium. Cleats and shin guards are required. Minicamp will take place from 3:00pm-5:00pm after school from TODAY, Tuesday, May 27th THROUGH- Friday, May 30th.  Please see Coach Garber in the Gym or Coach Pitkow in room C-241 with any questions.

 

 

 

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Still need service hours?  Abington Middle School is running three fun day events for each grade level! Volunteers will help run carnival-style activities, making it a memorable experience for our middle schoolers!   All grades 9-12 students are welcome. Tuesday, May 27th  TODAY!

Want to work as a government official or make changes within our government? If so, there will be a Career Chatter on Tuesday, May 27th, which centers around public service and speaking up for your community. State Representative Ben Sanchez is the speaker for this event, a resident of Abington and an advocate for the people of 153rd legislative district. Please check your counseling google classroom to learn more about this session and to sign up.

Does a career working for the government excite you? There will be a career chatter on Thursday, May 29th with speaker Matthew Capps, who was an officer in the Navy and currently works in the cyber division of the FBI. If you are interested please check your counseling google classroom for more information and to sign up.

 

Are you considering careers in marketing, branding, or networking, or want to gain experience creating professional social media posts? The Ambassador program is one of Abington's internal internships where students work directly with teachers and industry professionals to develop communication, planning, leadership, and organization skills. SPRING COFFEE HOUSE:  Chorale will be holding their annual Spring Coffee House fundraiser, Wednesday, May 28, in Caf C at 6:45pm. Come hear the members of Chorale, especially the very talented singers of the class of 2025, perform solos and small group performances and enjoy snacks and concessions. There is a $5 admission fee, and all proceeds benefit the choir. See you there!

SPIKEBALL:  Want to show off your spikeball skills?  Sign up for Abington Boys' Volleyball's first ever spikeball tournament!  Teams of 2 to 3 people can sign up for $20 a team outside of room A216. Scan the QR code and fill out the form to sign up. The tournament will take place after school on Friday, May 30th starting at 3:00 PM. Teams must fill out the form and sign up by Thursday, May 29th to play! See Ms. Robinson with any questions!
