MILITARY CLUB/Perfect Blend Collaboration: May 12th thru the 16th the Military Club will be working with the perfect blend. We will be selling All American Root Beer Floats in order to make and donate welcome baskets to incoming military families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

KEY CLUB: Attention all students: if you are still interested in purchasing the Matchomatics survey results, they have been reduced to $1 to support Key Club scholarships. Do you enjoy science or law related careers? If so, there will be a career chatter on Tuesday, May 6th with Dr. Mike Garvey, the Executive Director of the Philadelphia Police Department Office of Forensic Science, to discuss how forensic science can be used to help solve and prevent crimes. Are you interested in careers in exercise science? If so, there will be a career chatter on Friday, May 9th to learn more about opportunities in sports medicine. The speaker is Dr. Phillip Skiba, who has coached Olympic athletes and world record holders, as well as been involved in many different positions and organizations in exercise science. Want to find out more about professions in law? Antranig Garibian, trial lawyer and owner of Garibian Law Offices is coming on Friday, May 9th to discuss what being a lawyer is like, especially working on business related cases. Boy’s JV & Varsity Soccer

Abington Boy’s Varsity & JV Soccer will have a meeting on Tuesday, May 21th after school in Mr. Pitkow’s classroom (room C-241) to discuss important details regarding the spring mini camp and preseason / tryouts for the 2025 fall season. This meeting is for both returning players and any players in 8th-11th grade interested in trying out for the team next year. Please spread the word, and let one of the coaches know if you are unable to attend.

For anyone unable to attend the meeting, please plan to attend Boy’s Soccer Minicamp on Tuesday, May 27th after school behind the stadium. Cleats and shin guards are required. Mini camp will take place from 3:00pm-5:00pm after school from Tuesday, May 27th - Friday, May 30th.

MOCK CRASH PARTICIPANT INTEREST: Seniors interested in playing roles in the 2025 mock crash should submit an interest/permission form by Tuesday May 6th.
