I am writing to inform you about an unfortunate incident that occurred earlier today at our school. It is essential to keep you informed about matters that affect the safety and well-being of our students. Earlier today, an altercation between several students took place in one of our cafeterias. The incident was observed immediately by our School Resource Officer, administrators, and security personnel, and immediate action was taken to intercede. The safety and security of our students are of utmost importance, and we take such incidents very seriously.
As a result of the altercation, additional Abington Police law enforcement authorities were contacted, and the eight students involved were transported to the local police station. We are cooperating fully with the police in their investigation into this matter. Our school is committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students. It is essential that we take this opportunity to remind our students of the importance of conflict resolution, acceptance, and respect for one another. We encourage you, as parents and guardians, to discuss these values with your children and reinforce the importance of maintaining a positive and peaceful school community.
