Our 4th grade students from Mrs. Wentz's rolled up their sleeves and helped care for our school grounds this week! Students spread mulch around the newly planted playground trees and worked together to weed the courtyard gardens. Their hard work and teamwork are helping keep our campus beautiful. We are so proud of their efforts! 🌳💚

Last week, English-learners and their families joined us for the annual ELD Family Engagement Night, where they were able to be connected to resources and learn about the curriculum for grades K-12. #ASDProud

Sunshine, smiles, and lots of school spirit made Field Day 2026 at Copper Beech one to remember! ☀️🏃‍♂️🎉 Students enjoyed a day full of exciting games, friendly competition, teamwork, and laughter with classmates and staff. From relay races to popsicle breaks, everyone showed great sportsmanship and had an amazing time celebrating the end of a fantastic school year. Thank you to our teachers, staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day such a success! 💚💛

CB kindergarten students had a ROAR-some time on their field trip to the Elmwood Park Zoo! 🦁🐒🐢 Students explored amazing animal exhibits, learned fun facts about wildlife, and enjoyed a beautiful day of hands-on learning and adventure with their classmates. We loved seeing their excitement, curiosity, and big smiles throughout the day! 💚🚌

Our annual Autism Celebration was out of this world this year! 🚀✨

Students and families came together to celebrate what makes each child unique, with a fun space-themed event full of exciting stations. A special shoutout to our amazing 5th graders, who helped run each activity and made the day extra special!

The gym was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of movement as students explored, played, and enjoyed time with their families. 💙

Spring has arrived, and there’s no better time to step outside and enjoy the fresh air! Our students loved soaking up the sunshine, exploring, and learning in the beautiful weather. From outdoor activities to simply appreciating nature, these moments remind us how important it is to play, discover, and grow together. 🌷☀️

🌱🌍 Our students celebrated Earth Day by planting a school garden with the help of some amazing adults! A big thank you to our second graders for helping water and care for it all week. We can’t wait to see it grow! 🌼💧

REMINDER: Open House for the new Abington Middle School - Tuesday, April 21 @ 6:30 p.m.

→ During the meeting, attendees will be able to submit questions live via a QR code, which will be read aloud during the question and answer period that will continue until 8 p.m.

→ Those not able to attend the Open House in person will be able to watch a livestream on the Abington School District YouTube channel, and will be able to submit questions via the same online form that the in-person attendees are using.

→ If not all questions can be addressed in the allotted time, responses will be provided to individuals via email. Frequently Asked Questions will be posted to the project microsite, OneASDOneFuture.org.

Introducing a new way for parents/guardians to track their student's bus ride to/from school! The Zonar MyView app utilizes GPS to provide parents/guardians with notifications as to when their student's bus is approaching school in the morning or their stop in the afternoon. Mrs. James' class wrapped up their learning in a fun and creative way! They dressed up as presidents and shared their ideas about how they would help and care for the people if they were in charge. We loved seeing their imagination, confidence, and thoughtful ideas shine.
