GIRLS TENNIS:
Girls in 8th thru 11th grades who are interested in trying out for the Senior High Tennis team this fall should attend a meeting on Monday, May 4th at 3:15PM in Cafe C. The meeting will be important, please plan to attend.

Today’s book is A home for Goddesses and Dogs by Leslie Connor.
After the death of her mother, 13 year old Lydia moves in with her three aunts. Only days after her arrival the women adopt a big yellow dog. Lydia is not a dog person—and this one is trouble! He pees in the house, escapes into the woods, and barks at things unseen. His new owners begin to guess about his unknown past and a number of other strange mysteries.

Dear Rising 6th and 7th Grade Students,
Do YOU have what it takes to become a WEB Leader?
WHAT IS WEB? WEB is an orientation program to welcome our 6th graders to Abington Middle School. As our middle school experts, you have wisdom, knowledge, and experience to share with our newest students. You, along with other 7th and 8th graders, will be trained in how to mentor 6th grade students throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
THE IMPORTANT DATES (WEB Leaders MUST attend all dates listed below - no exceptions)
WEB Leader Interview - Tuesday, May 26 (during school)
Spring Play Day - Wednesday, June 3 (during school)
2-Day WEB Leader Training - Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27
6th Grade Orientation Day - Tuesday, September 8
First Day of School for Everyone - Wednesday, September 9
