Today’s book is Will in Scarlet. Will Scarlet is on the run. Once the son of nobility, Will has become an exile. Will flees the only home he's ever known into neighboring Sherwood Forest, where he joins the elusive gang of bandits known as the Merry Men along with Robin Hood. This is the story of how a band of misfit outlaws become heroes of legend - thanks to one brave 13-year-old boy. Will in Scarlet is written by Matthew Cody.

Dear Rising 6th and 7th Grade Students,
Do YOU have what it takes to become a WEB Leader?
WHAT IS WEB? WEB is an orientation program to welcome our 6th graders to Abington Middle School. As our middle school experts, you have wisdom, knowledge, and experience to share with our newest students. You, along with other 7th and 8th graders, will be trained in how to mentor 6th grade students throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
THE IMPORTANT DATES (WEB Leaders MUST attend all dates listed below - no exceptions)
WEB Leader Interview - Tuesday, May 26 (during school)
Spring Play Day - Wednesday, June 3 (during school)
2-Day WEB Leader Training - Wednesday, August 26 and Thursday, August 27
6th Grade Orientation Day - Tuesday, September 8
First Day of School for Everyone - Wednesday, September 9
Below, you will find the link to the WEB Leader Application. If you are interested in applying, please fill out the entire form and turn it in by 11:59pm on Sunday, May 10th.

GIRLS TENNIS:
Girls in 8th thru 11th grades who are interested in trying out for the Senior High Tennis team this fall should attend a meeting on Monday, May 4th at 3:15PM in Cafe C. The meeting will be important, please plan to attend.
