Time for Book of the day! Today’s book is Many stones by Carolyn Coman. In this book, Berry Morgan's older sister left home to become a school volunteer in Capetown, South Africa, and in a nightmare ripped from the headlines was brutally murdered. A year and a half later, Berry's father arranges a trip to South Africa for a memorial service--a trip that will transform them both.

For 8th Grade Students - 

Auditions for the M3 touring and modern band ensembles at Abington HS are underway. Auditions include considerations for vocals and instrumental performance, and round one video submissions will be due by April 3. 

All necessary details and submission information are available on our Google Classroom using code "v45d3dz5" or using this LINK.

This nationally-recognized program features consistent performances across the greater-Philadelphia region and performs alongside top-tier talent on a regular basis, as well as work in studio recording original music and covers. Plans for next year include continuing to record new music projects as well as potential for another touring experience.

On April 10, the GSA is observing the Day of Silence to protest the oppression of LGTBQ+ voices and their allies. If you are interested in participating, sign up through the link in the AMS bulletin, check your team google classroom, or scan the QR code on the flyers around the school. The deadline to sign up is April 1.

If you would like to help organize, feel free to attend our GSA meetings on Wednesdays March 4, March 18, and April 8. Meeting attendance is not required for participation.
