Black History Month Announcement:

"As we wrap up our week, let’s talk about the 'Beloved Community.' This was a vision where everyone is cared for and poverty, hunger, and hate are replaced by respect. Building that community starts right here in our classrooms. When we respect each other’s differences and celebrate our unique stories, we create a school where everyone belongs. Let’s finish the week strong by being leaders of peace and champions for one another. Have a great day, AMS]!"

~Mr. File

Today’s book of the day tells the story of Arturo, who is looking forward to a relaxing summer until Carmen, a cute and funny girl moves into his apartment complex and while he deals with his stomach turning into a deep fryer over a girl, a smarmy land developer rolls into town and threatens to change it. The book is The epic fail of Arturo Zamora by Pablo Cartaya
