The book Something wicked this way comes by Ray Bradbury. The show is about to begin. Cooger & Dark’s Pandemonium Shadow Show has come to Green Town, Illinois, to destroy every life touched by its strange and sinister mystery. The carnival rolls in sometime after midnight, starting Halloween a week early. A loud song beckons to all with a promise of dreams and youth regained. Two boys will discover the secret of its smoke, mazes, and mirrors; two friends who will soon know all too well the heavy cost of wishes…and the stuff of nightmares.

The Yearbook Staff proudly presents our 2026 Yearbook Spirit Day!  Join us on January 29 for
SOUND WAVES day!  Inspired by our "Sound Wave" yearbook design, SOUNDWAVES day is a day to celebrate music and musical styles. Get those crazy bell bottoms on for Disco, tie a flannel around your waist for grunge, get your cowboy gear for country, maybe some leg warmers for 80's pop!  You get the idea!  Prizes will be awarded for participation and creative costumes!  Remember, January 29 is SOUNDWAVES DAY!  And while you're thinking of your next spirit day costume, don't forget to order your 2026 Yearbook today!  The link to order can be found on the Abinton Middle School Main Page!  Thanks and see you on Soundwaves day!

Signups are underway for TADA's MOVIE NIGHT!  The film we are showing is posted in the TADA Google Classroom along with the date and time.  That evening, we will also have an intermission where students can participate in a movie trivia contest to win prizes!  The cost to sign up is $2 - put the money in an envelope with your FIRST & LAST NAME AND GRADE LEVEL. 

Students can sign up at the following locations:

• TADA Office - Room 363A - the TADA office door has a locked dropbox that you can put your envelope in at any time.

AMS Donation Drive for Jamaica

The AMS Builders Club is collecting school supplies and other items for schools in Jamaica devastated by Hurricane Melissa. 

Please consider bringing in any of the items listed below and turn in to the collection box in your ELA classroom or the main office. We will be collecting items until February 11.

Attention all students, the next SRK event will be a session of Minute to Win-It games in the gym in February.   There will be individual and team games for students to compete in for prizes.  Lots of raffles will also be held during the event, and every student in attendance will have a chance to win a prize.  ALL students who have displayed SRK behavior in school during term 2 will attend.  Eligibility requirements and other event details can be found in the event FLYER that is posted in your team's Google Classroom.
