Attention students with outstanding detentions - afternoon detention will be held in room 314 today after school. Next week, afternoon detention will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There will not be afternoon detention on Tuesday.

In the book The unnameables by Ellen Booraem a boy named Medford lives on an island where everything must have a useful name and purpose, and "unnameable" or frivolous items are forbidden. When a strange, goat-like creature washes ashore, it forces Medford and his community to question their rigid rules, especially after they discover Medford has been secretly carving beautiful, useless objects.

Attention 8th-grade students. We have 2 more skiing/snowboarding trips to Blue Mountain this season. The first trip is on Tuesday, January 27th. The other one is on February 10th. If you are interested in joining either of these trips, please stop by and see Mr. Fogle in room 326 for more information. Our buses still have room for you to sign up. Come and join your friends for some winter fun out on the slopes. Details can be found on the ASC Google Classroom.

Attention Grade 6 AMS students: The AMS Dance Team is a chance for students in Grade 6 to get moving, have fun, and meet new people. Each week, we will work on a routine that will be performed for the school. If you love to dance and perform, this is the club for you! If you are interested, complete the Dance Team Interest Form. 20 students will be randomly selected. You will receive an invite for the Google Classroom after names are selected.

Signups are underway for TADA's MOVIE NIGHT! The film we are showing is posted in the TADA Google Classroom along with the date and time. That evening, we will also have an intermission where students can participate in a movie trivia contest to win prizes! The cost to sign up is $2 - put the money in an envelope with your FIRST & LAST NAME AND GRADE LEVEL.
