Send your friends a candy cane plus a special message.  It’s only one dollar.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Make-A-Wish helps grant life-changing wishes for children and teens with critical illnesses. The Builders Club will be selling Candy Cane Grams in the science wing lobby from 7:30 to 8:oo AM, starting Friday (12/12) and continuing through Thursday (12/18).  All Candy Cane Grams will be delivered to ELA classrooms on Friday (12/19).

The 7th Grade Boys' Basketball Interest Meeting will take place on Friday, December 19th, during Advisory in the Little Theatre. Any students who wish to try out for the Team must attend or Email Coach Cawley.

The book of the day for today is called Ajeemah and his son. In 1807, at the height of the slave trade, Ajeemah and his son, Atu, are snatched by slave traders from their home in Africa while en route to deliver a dowry to Atu's bride-to-be. Ajeemah and Atu are then taken to Jamaica and sold to neighboring plantations'never to see one another again. This book is written by James Berry.

Attention all students, the next SRK event will be a session of Minute to Win-It games in the gym in February.   There will be individual and team games for students to compete in for prizes.  Lots of raffles will also be held during the event, and every student in attendance will have a chance to win a prize.  ALL students who have displayed SRK behavior in school during term 2 will attend.  Eligibility requirements and other event details can be found in the event FLYER that is posted in your team's Google Classroom.
