Following the approval of a referendum in May 2025 from voters in Abington Township and the Borough of Rockledge, the project to build a new Abington Middle School is well underway, with the Abington School District currently in the process of planning and design.
As a continuation of ongoing efforts to engage the community throughout the entirety of the project, a new online survey was launched today to gather stakeholder input on the design of the new middle school building.
The online survey is open now through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The brief questionnaire aims to help guide the District’s priorities during this critical phase of the project.
“From the beginning, Abington School District’s Board of School Directors and leadership team have been committed to making this a community-involved initiative, and this survey is the next step in engaging our stakeholders to ensure that the new Abington Middle School reflects the needs and priorities of our students, staff and community,” Dr. Jeffrey Fecher, Superintendent of Schools, said.
Additional information about the project and ongoing updates are available on the dedicated website, OneASDOneFuture.org.
