Congratulations to the 8th grade girls' basketball game on their exciting 22-18 win over Wissahickon on Tuesday. The girls played ferocious defense all day against a physical Wissahickon team. Brynn Holdsworth led the team in scoring with 9 points, including an early 3-pointer and two crucial last minute free throws. Quinn Hanrahan scored 7 points, and was a force under the basket all afternoon. Olivia Figeroa scored two points, and Mia Russell backed her defender down in the 4th quarter for a HUGE go-ahead basket. The girls take on Colonial today - good luck girls!
