🎁 Abington Township Police Department Toy Drive 🎁

The Abington Township Police Department, in partnership with CAPT (Citizens and Police Together), is hosting the ATPD Toy Drive this holiday season!

Abington Middle School is proud to serve as a community toy drop-off location.

How to Donate:

Please bring any new, unopened toys or gift items to the donation box located in the administrative lobby at Abington Middle School.

Donation Period:

Now through Friday, December 5th

All donated items will directly benefit families in the Abington community.
Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter for those in need!

TADA is pleased to announce SIGN-UPS for our next event - the TADA KARAOKE DANCE!  Please see the flyer posted in the TADA Google Classroom for more details.  Sign-ups start Tuesday, November 18th, and you must sign up for this event ahead of time (and before we sell out).

The cost for this event is $5.00
 - put the money in an ENVELOPE with your FIRST & LAST NAME AND GRADE LEVEL

You can sign up at the following locations:

  • The TADA Office, in Room 363A - the TADA office door has a locked dropbox in the door that you can put your envelope in at ANY TIME OF DAY.

  • Room 217 during Advisory or Workshop

Time for Book of the Day! In Tracy Barrett’s book the 100 Year old Secret, Xena and Xander Holmes, an American brother and sister living in London for a year, discover that Sherlock Holmes was their great-great-great grandfather when they are inducted into the Society for the Preservation of Famous Detectives and given his unsolved casebook, from which they attempt to solve the case of a famous missing painting.

Congratulations to the 8th grade girls' basketball game on their exciting 22-18 win over Wissahickon on Tuesday. The girls played ferocious defense all day against a physical Wissahickon team. Brynn Holdsworth led the team in scoring with 9 points, including an early 3-pointer and two crucial last minute free throws. Quinn Hanrahan scored 7 points, and was a force under the basket all afternoon. Olivia Figeroa scored two points, and Mia Russell backed her defender down in the 4th quarter for a HUGE go-ahead basket. The girls take on Colonial today - good luck girls!
