You may be aware that with yesterday's win, the Abington High School soccer team will play for the state championship (for the first time ever) on Friday. To show our support, we will have an Abington spirit day on Friday. Wear your Abington gear or school colors to show your support of the soccer team!

Today’s book of the day, Up Molasses Mountain, takes place in a West Virginia coal mining town. Miners trying to create a union start a strike and cause an accident, changing Elizabeth’s life. She runs away and finds her neighbor Clarence, with a rare animal hidden in the woods and care for it together. Up Molasses Mountain is written by Julie Baker.
