The AMS Talent Show will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 7pm in the AMS Little Theater!
Come out and support the AMS Music Program and see some fabulous singing, dancing, magic, martial arts, the chamber orchestra and the M4 bands! Cost is $5 payable at the door. All proceeds benefit the AMS Music program. Students attending are required to wear ID's to enter.

THE AMS CREATIVE WRITING CLUB IS NOW FORMING. WRITER AND ILLUSTRATORS, COME JOIN US. WE WILL MEET TWICE A MONTH ON TUESDAYS.

Attention 8th grade boys interested in trying out for the basketball team - There will be a mandatory informational meeting after school on Wednesday, November 12th, from 3:15-4:00 in Commons A. Please start taking care of your PIAA paperwork by following the directions on the document linked here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j6SELamG7zi8wc8r6t2CC9IGMwTW3gKL/view?usp=drive_link. Any questions regarding that process, see the nurses in the Health Suite. Any other questions, see Coach Hinds in Room 234 during advisory.

The book of the day for today is The Kindling by Jennifer Armstrong. It is the first book in the Fire Us Trilogy where the world has been wiped out by a deadly plague that killed all the adults. Seven children in Florida are trying to survive together and are ready to give up. Then a new kid comes by and convinces them to try to travel to Washington, DC to see if there is still a President.

Signups for the TADA Unique Game Show are now sold out! For those who did sign up, please check the TADA Google Classroom for the list of teams to see which color you should wear to the event this Friday evening!
Please arrive at the TADA Unique Game Show by 7:15 pm and tell your parents/guardians to pick you up in the Little Theater Parking Lot at 9:30 pm. (Students are NOT permitted to walk home after TADA events.)

AbingThon Jr is on Friday, November 14th, after school, until 5 at the Senior High. AbingThon senior high students will be visiting again during all lunches this Thursday. If you need help signing up or want more information, please see one of them at lunch! We look forward to a great time again this year!
