Welcome to our final day of Red Ribbon Week! We hope to see you saying Boo to Drugs today! We hope you learned a lot of tips for living a healthy lifestyle. If you have concerns about anyone’s possible drug use, please refer them to Abington Middle School’s Student Assistance Program. You can find referral forms in the student services office, the Library, and the Heath Suite. Forms can be returned to your school counselor. A team of specially trained teachers and counselors will read the referral and direct appropriate help to the student in need.

The AMS Talent Show will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 7pm in the AMS Little Theater!
Come out and support the AMS Music Program and see some fabulous singing, dancing, magic, martial arts, the chamber orchestra and the M4 bands! Cost is $5 payable at the door. All proceeds benefit the AMS Music program. Students attending are required to wear ID's to enter.

Attention 8th-grade Students. This is the last week to sign up for the Tuesday Night Blue Mountain Ski and Snowboard trips to Blue Mountain. All information is posted on the High School Alternative Sports Club Google Classroom page (pvaqh6h). If you have any questions, please stop by room 326 and see Mr. Fogle for more information. We hope to see you on the slopes this winter.

Happy Halloween from the AMS Library Staff! Today’s book of the day is called Kissing Tennessee and other stories from the Stardust Dance by Kathi Appelt. Graduating eighth graders relate their stories of love and heartbreak that have brought them to Dogwood Junior High's magical Stardust Dance. Mason and Carrie Marie can't get up the courage to ask each other to dance. Russ's girlfriend has died, and now he's just trying to live without her. Attention 8th grade boys interested in trying out for the basketball team - There will be a mandatory informational meeting after school on Wednesday, November 12th, from 3:15-4:00 in Commons A.
