Today’s Book of the Day is about 11 year old David who gets too sick to go to school, so his old Aunt Annie offers to tutor him. He starts calling her The Gawgon because of her resemblance to the terrifying Gawgon Medusa of Greek mythology. Together they embark on exciting imaginary adventures rescuing King Tut's treasure, scaling mountains and outwitting master criminals. This book is called The Gawgon and the Boy by Lloyd Alexander.

There will be a Going Green Meeting on Thursday, 10/23 in S106 until 4:10pm. Weather permitting, we plan to do nature journaling and collect more leaves. Check the google classroom stream for announcements on the day of the meeting in case the meeting is canceled due to weather. If there is no update posted, assume the meeting will be held as planned. Dress for the weather- wear sneakers and bring a coat in case it is cold.
