Today’s Book of the Day is The green bicycle by Haifaa Al Mansour. Eleven-year-old Wadjda lives in Saudi Arabia and desperately wants a bicycle even though it is not proper for girls to ride bikes. Wadjda earns money by selling homemade bracelets and mixtapes of banned music to her classmates. Ater she's caught, she’s forced to change, or risk being kicked out of school but she will stop at nothing to get her bicycle.
