#SummerinASD: ASHS students Kaycie Applegate, Nick Burlingame, Greg Grey, Kolton Inverso, Darwin Liu, Adelyn Shore, Micah Ufberg, Watson van Ekeleberg and Michelle Verbilla, traveled to the rural community of Keur Coly Diouf in Senegal this July to support BuildOn's constructiction of a new school alongside community members. Twenty Abington Senior High juniors and seniors visited Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands in July. They explored conservation and breeding efforts at the Charles Darwin Center, snorkeled with the sea lions, walked with giant Galapagos tortoises, hiked through lava volcanoes, took a boat to see penguins, and visited the equatorial line! #SummerinASD

At Tuesday's Board meeting, Dr. Fecher welcomed Student School Board Member for the 2025-2026 school year, Caitlyn Le, who is a junior at Abington Senior High School, bringing with her a strong commitment to service, leadership, and academic excellence. This school year, beyond her rigorous academic schedule, Caitlyn will serve as the President of the Asian Student Association. She is also an active Board Member of the Key Club, and a dedicated member of the Red Cross Club, having received the Abington Award for Service last school year, signifying that she completed over 70 hours of volunteer work in the community. #ASDProud
