Roslyn's first grade students completed a Social Studies project called "Hearts Across America", with the goal of receiving a valentine/letter from all 50 U.S. states, and from other countries as well. The project helped students better understand using maps and identifying countries, states, continents, and their own place on the map! On Friday night, Abington School District hosted the first-ever regional elementary Best Buddies event at Abington Senior High School. The event, to which Best Buddies chapters from across the region were invited, featured face-painting, a photo booth, sensory and coloring stations, a yoga session, and dancing for families in attendance. Thank you to the Special Education Department for organizing this event, and to our ASHS student volunteers! #ASDProud
