Meet Our Roslyn Elementary Administration

Dr. Kevin Osborne

Dr. Kevin Osborne, Principal

My name is Dr. Kevin Osborne and I have now worked in Abington School District (ASD) for almost thirty years.  Abington is a wonderful community and I am proud to be a principal serving the Abington SD community.  It is every intention of mine to make you feel like having your child attend Roslyn School was the best decision you ever made.

I was fortunate to open the new Roslyn School building in 2007.  Prior to being principal of Roslyn I worked in many different roles throughout Abington over the years.  I taught third, fifth, and sixth grades at various Abington elementary schools and also worked in a variety of administrative roles, all within the Abington School District.

Although the this building is still relatively new, the original Roslyn School was established in 1926 so we are a strongly established neighborhood school community.  A great number of our students walk to and from school every day.  It is my intention to make the school community reflect the small neighborhood feel of the community.  I hope that is the feeling that you and your children have as you enter Roslyn School.

This school has wonderful students, a committed parent population, amazing teachers and dedicated staff. We like to have fun but we also believe in working smart to benefit our students.  High expectations for everyone who enters Roslyn is our norm.

Outside of school, I have a very large large extended family that keeps me occupied and engaged.  My three children have grown up during my time as Principal of Roslyn School.  Two of my kids are now in college (in Philadelphia and Chicago) and my youngest is getting close to finishing high school.  The time with your young children goes so very fast so please enjoy them when they are little!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns.  I look forward to great school year.
