Abington School District’s $285 million bond referendum is less than one week away. A new resource is available that explores how an intentionally designed Middle School could support future-ready learning and enhance student well-being.
Ultimately, it’s up to residents in Abington Township and the Borough of Rockledge to decide whether a new Middle School will be built.
If the referendum is approved by a majority of voters on May 20, property taxes will increase incrementally over the course of the project as bonds are issued — beginning in July 2026, and ultimately reaching the estimated tax impact of $54 per month on a median homestead in the district in several years.
