Facilities

The Facilities Department consists of three groups of staffMaintenance, Custodial and Grounds–which provide clean and well-maintained buildings and grounds for the students and staff of Abington School District. 

Staff requiring the services of Facilities Department staff may do so by completing a work order for these services, available on the ASD intranet. Please consult with building secretaries for procedures to submit work orders.

Maintenance

Maintenance provides trade-related services for all District buildings. These trades are Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Painting, Carpentry, Locksmith, Roofing, General Maintenance and Appliance Maintenance.  

Custodial

This division provides the custodial services related to all District buildings. The supervisor is assisted by day and night foremen at the Junior and Senior high schools, as well as head custodians at the elementary schools. They oversee a contingent of day and evening custodians throughout the District.

Grounds

This division provides grounds services for all district buildings and properties.
