Communications For Parents/Guardians Only

Skyward Family Access

Skyward Family Access logo

Information is accessible to parents/guardians of Abington School District students through Skyward’s Family Access portal. Each family is provided with one login ID and password to Family Access. Parents/guardians should review their telephone and email contact information on Skyward to ensure its accuracy, as this information is essential for communications, weather related announcements and in case of an emergency. In addition to emails sent to parents and guardians, an automated telephone calling system, as well as text messaging, are used to contact families with weather-related announcements and other important information.

You may update your contact information by:

  1. Logging into Skyward.

  2. Clicking the "Student Info" tab on the left side of the screen.

  3. Clicking the "Request Changes" text on the right side of the screen to select the information for which changes are needed.

Questions regarding Skyward Family Access should be directed to the school office where your child is enrolled.

Broadcast

Abington School District provides 24-hour public access cable TV stations with educational and informational video content on Comcast Xfinity channel 968 and Verizon Fios channel 34. Weather-related closures will be announced on these channels as well, in addition to being broadcast through local television and radio stations. For a schedule of programming, please click here.

Community eFliers

Abington School District maintains a virtual bulletin board with fliers submitted by local community groups and other non-profit organizations. This method is the best means for outside entities to promote an event, initiative or activity to our 8,600 students and their families across the District’s nine schools. Families can access the fliers to look for opportunities or areas of interest via our Community E-Fliers portal, which also includes instructions on how to submit a flier for consideration.
